Born and raised in Grand Forks BC, Curtis moved to Victoria in 2009 to become a Certified Athletic Therapist, through Camosun College’s Bachelor of Athletic and Exercise Therapy Program, graduating in 2013.

Curtis has had experience working with both amateur and professional athletes for several years in various sports including Hockey, Baseball, Lacrosse & Football. In addition to athletes, Curtis also has experience working with all ages of the general population. His range of experience includes proficiency of acute musculoskeletal (muscles, bones & joints) injuries, chronic disorders, as well as pre & post surgery and training for performance.

As an Athletic Therapist, Curtis believes in assessing the whole body to find the root cause and source of pain, and with manual therapy and therapeutic exercise, the necessary adjustments can be made to prevent further injury or pain.

During a session, you can expect a combination of manual therapy and exercise prescription. You will also experience a postural assessment, various soft tissue techniques, joint mobilizations and personalized rehabilitative exercise based upon your needs.

He has always had a lifelong passion for sports, fitness and the outdoors. In his spare time, Curtis can be found hiking, working out or on the baseball field.
